MIRA Festival – After Movie: In November 2022, Barcelona opened its doors once again to the iconic MIRA Festival. The festival celebrates the very best in electronic music, experimental art surrounded by insane light installations. For the After Movie and alongside the creative Sena Partal, from the production company We Love Martha, we wrote a meditative trance like journey piece taking the viewer through the experience. I then got to bring the script to life with my voice in a very ASMR kind of way.
AURA: A Celebration Of Life: For the last three years, I’ve been working with the wonderful team at Aura. This time, Aura recently launched the first of its kind bespoke funeral plans. For the launch, I directed and produced a short form documentary that took a deep dive into the different ways of celebrating life. Project done with Collective Films.
Mixed Feelings: In Lockdown 1.0, I wrote a piece to accompany the beautiful visual diary of Irene Baqué. A snapshot of a moment in time in a visual essay.
Jena Keating: Nobody Can Have Me: The sensational Jena Keating recently released her newest single, Nobody Can Have Me. This video played with different vignettes that show her as this powerful yet vulnerable femme fatale. Think Dita Von Teese meets Euphoria. Project done with Collective Films.
VANS: For VANS Checkerboard day, VICE partnered with the iconic trainer brand to celebrate artists, creatives and thinkers who use art as a way to manage their mental health. Our social media campaign first showed these inspiring artists, and then we opened up a helpline so people could phone in and explain their own story. The super talented Conor Campbell brought these individual stories to life for socials.
Inhaler: For Inhaler's debut album, It Won't Always Be Like This, we got the lads in their recording studio in Dublin to perform the whole album back to front.
Thumper, Fear Of Art: In January I had the pleasure of writing and directing this music video for the Irish band, THUMPER. Filmed all in one location in Mullingar, Ireland, the story centres around a family and their deliciously chaotic meal that descends into absolute madness. Work done with Collective Films.
The Lost Mod: I gave voice to this wonderful masterpiece of a short film, written and directed by Bernat Lliteras.
Re Rug: Nanimarquina: Re Rug is a project by Nanimarquina that takes waste from the production of rugs and turns it into new, beautiful, one-of-a-kind masterpieces. I wrote a piece to accompany this beautiful video, made by my friends at Akerblom Studio.
IT’S OK NOT TO BE OK: A short form documentary looking at The Martin Gallier project in Illford, a project dedicated to raising awareness about suicide. One of the main ideas in the campaign was to provide some simple actionable items for people to do in case they feared someone close to them might be suffering. Campaign done at VICE.
NAVIGATOR: Navigator is a six city cross European campaign for Marriot Hotels. It featured a microsite that served as a city guide with local recomendations from creatives in different cities. In total we created 80 pieces of editorial and 12 pieces of video across 6 cities. We collaborated with 6 photographers and 8 different, amazing creatives. You can access the campaign here. Campaign done at VICE.
Classical Futures: I wrote a spoken word piece for the EU funded program, Classical Futures. A program that helps young emerging classical musicians to gain access to some of the worlds most prestigious stages and grants. The video is a celebration of the power of music, and how much we collectively all need it. You can watch the finished video here
Webwise: #TalkListenLearn: Webwise.ie had detected an issue: parents and teenagers were struggling to talk about the internet and its dangers. I came up with the campaign to get parents and children talking thanks to a topic generator. It was supported with video content featuring interviews with the parents and teenagers using the topic generator.
385 Days: 985 DAYS follows the surreal evolution of two girls and their bold relationship in a funky, playful, and oddly relatable, 2 minutes. The story visualizes the little crazy things in life which we sometimes don’t see but that are very much still there. This a self-produced, personal project created and directed in Barcelona by Clim and Jade de Robles.
Raise Your Game:: Jigsaw, Ireland’s lead mental health charity for young people, organised a 24 hours live stream fundraising event, called Raise Your Game on Twitch and Youtube, and they needed help driving users to the stream. In a half magical game world - half IRL short advert, four stories take inspiration from four major games.
